Strong FMC – Sydney is no damsel in distress. In fact she’s a baddie in her own right. Her strength and attitude are swoon-worthy in itself and we love a main character who doesn’t have to dim her spark for no man.
Unique World Building – small town romances are typically set in the mountains or way out in the country, so the high desert setting of Melia Grasska’s novel 100 Promises really sets things apart.
